The Conservative Policy Leadership Institute (CPLI) class of 2017 includes 18 members, each selected for their knowledge, experience, and civic engagement.
“The individuals selected have demonstrated leadership in their fields and a desire for an advanced, issue-based educational experience grounded in conservative philosophy,” said Senator Hunter Hill, CPLI chairman. “CPLI has been the leading conservative policy training program in Georgia for six years, and will continue to keep our current and future leaders informed and educated.”
The 2017 CPLI program has moved to a calendar-year schedule comprised of six program sessions. The kickoff session was held Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at the Georgia State Capitol. Over the course of the year, CPLI will also lead working sessions on economic development, education, and healthcare.
“Over the next year we look forward to providing a great program, creating partnerships among other organizations and government, and ensuring we are statewide in our focus,” said CPLI President John Fuchko, III. “We expanded this year’s calendar with additional programs to further allow our leaders to delve more deeply into core policy questions and conservative principles.”
